This is sad and it happened in 2004 with Pedigree dog foods and Whiskas cat foods manufactured in Thailand by Mars Inc., and again in 2007 with Mars Inc. and a number of other HUGE U.S. food manufacturers. We now realize the same ingredients (melamine and cyanuric acid) are in our food for human consumption. This is so sad. I have never trusted those big multinational pet food companies. I feed my dogs on a mixture of Burns nuts (an small Irish company, that has a good reputation) and homemade food. All of those commercial foods and treats are dirt...purina treats are loaded with all sorts of 'E's'. Burns does a treat called Kettles...they look and smell natural, as they should be. I love animals and to see them injured and killed by corporate multinational economic greed makes my blood boil.

I am very sorry for your loss. I am disgusted that our government swept this under the rug and now people are at risk. Melamine is in our food! I personally have had kidney like problems for three months now and I am scared. I have been to multiple doctors with no answers and after researching the last few weeks I am wondering if I have eaten melamine.Please support Mike Mozart's videos. I am still crying. When he was wagging his tail even though he was so sick my heart almost broke for you. Nestle is such a terrible company, I avoid all their products. =( I'm very sorry for your loss.
