Hiya sweetcheeks. Ya i had some computer problems. I changed something and my screen went upside down. I didnt know how to fix it so i turned my monitor upside down so i could read stuff but i figured it out a few days later.

your NIC card has a light in the back of it. If the card is broken the little light wont be lit. If it's your modem then not all your status lights will be on. They have USB network interface cards (nic) so no more worries about internal cards failing;-) Otherwise get a new nic and install it.

I talked to them a few days after my internet stopped working and they had me try all these things to get the internet working because they assured me it wasn't on their end. They were the ones that came to the conclusion it must be my network interface card. I even took my home computer to work and hooked it up there and the internet didn't work either.

I'm not sure what kind of internet you have, but it could also be a problem with what ever company you get the internet from. I know I had that problem, and it was my cable modem and so the cable company came out and gave me a new one.
