I'm so sorry. I don't know what it would have been like if I had lost my cavalier king charles spaniel. They are great dogs aren't they?

I'm very sorry for your loss, you must have loved her very much. My dog has never touched commercial pet foods, so we always cooked whole grain rice, ground beef and celery for him. After seeing this video, I'm really glad we do; thanks so much for uploading this video and warning others of possible dangers in commercial products o-o! I won't ever try to feed my dog that kind of stuff again;;;

Hei! I posted a video (Puppy agility) response for You. Your Cavalier Buffy is so cute and the video was beautiful and heartbreaking. My Nuppu (2years) is just like her (but with a white face), her body, faceshape, playfulness and cuteness all combined.I'm so sorry for your loss. Looks like she was a really happy dog while here on earth.Bless her heart! :-) E.

I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for posting a video that shows the reality of this situation. Those of us who did not lose pets often let the seriousness of a situation pass without much thought.Now we have a wakeup call people. Melamine is in OUR food. And do NOT believe the government that tries to convince us it's only Chinese food.Just as US pet food manufacturers were shown to have melamine, the same will hold true for US food manufacturers, why? Next comment.

I agree. Why do we expect our pets to live only on processed food? Check out the youtube video "What's Really in Petfood" by Dr Shawn, and sites trilogyonline and evangersdogfood.

I also want to say that I'm not surprised that my Woody doesn't want to eat dog food. I tried for weeks but he starves himself to death then. They put 4 % of meat in it and 3 % of ashes (I don't know what that is good for!?!)+ other garbage. It's almost cruelty to animals feeding them that. Now I tried with cooked minced meat and cooked beef or porc heart. In 10 seconds both cat and dog have eaten everything. Why can't they make atractve, healthy food for animals. They enjoy it too like we do.

We have a 5 month old blenheim too now and he looks a lot like yours. I'm at work and sitting here with red, wet, swollen eyes...very embarrassing. I'm already terrified thinking of the day I'll have to say goodbye to our Woody. Very, very sad. I feel with you. Wonderful video.
